Most days you can find me snuggled up with my sweet rescue pup Pancake, drinking a hot chocolate with an absurd number of marshmallows, and probably reading Harry Potter for the bajillionth time. I am married to the world’s most positive man, Aaron, who puts up with even my worst puns and spent four long years in the friendzone before we finally had our first date.
I keep photo shoots laidback, positive, and fun, because I firmly believe that is how we can get the best, most genuine photos. (And because who doesn’t want their shoot to be fun?!)
My photography style is a combination of capturing beautiful moments as they happen and planning out epic,
one-of-a-kind shots that will hopefully end up hanging on your wall.
I have been photographing Minnesota couples and families for more than seven years and can honestly say I freaking LOVE my job. Getting creative with my camera while watching real people go from feeling awkward to confident right in front of me absolutely lights my soul on fire!
I don’t want to just be that girl with the camera - I want to be that third wheel at your wedding cracking jokes with your grandma, carrying your backup lipstick in my camera bag just in case you need it, and feeling more like that goofy friend at your wedding rather than someone you hired. Cuz let’s face it, we’re about to become bffs!

The results were fantastic and more than I could’ve hoped for! Laura was able to make me feel like a million bucks.
Life and Art Photography created some amazing boudoir images. One thing I liked about the experience was that Laura made me feel so comfortable and at ease throughout the entirety of our shoot. She was able to make me feel like a million bucks. I would absolutely recommend her if you are looking for an experienced boudoir photographer who will deliver fantastic results. This lady knows what she is doing and does it well. I would love to work with her again!

Working with Laura was absolutely amazing! She made me feel extremely comfortable in the setting of the boudoir shoot and she makes it very fun!
